Staggered Lap (SSR & SLR):

When the maximum panel length is exceeded, a staggered panel lap is required:

The laps should be locate using the longest default panels possible from the Low Eave

The shortest panels near the High Eave or Ridge should span a minimum of 3 secondary members

Locate all laps at secondary members that are continuous from BL to BL (Rake)

The maximum stagger = 5’-0”

Attempt to avoid staggered laps that straddle inside corners at an “L” shape building.

The 1st Panel in the set at the Low Eave is Long

The 1st Panel in the set at the Ridge / High Eave is Short

Any Panels at Intermediate sets are detailed the same lengths but staggered.
